Abstract

A crucial effect of globalization is a radically new form of cultural exchange that demands a redefinition of what we think of as multiculturalism and with it the nature of culture itself . Not only enough to analyze national cultures and identities maintaining the idea of ​​a fixed culture , homogeneous , which is under the alleged threat of global forces. We must seek new definitions that meet the specific character of contemporary forms of intercultural relacción . Contemporary culture is characterized by a diversity of meanings result of interaction between groups, countries, cultures and languages ​​.
