Abstract
While fragmentation of sex studies in humans does not appear to be the most appropriate way to address such a complex issue , approximations have been made in the understanding of this aspect of the human individual spaces and isolated from each other. One is that of biomedicine , which I will discuss in this work centrally , without ignoring the psychological and sociocultural spheres of sex and sexuality are of utmost importance for a proper understanding . Recently, this constellation of approaches has added a new dimension, that of genre, although it has nurtured mainly social and cultural approaches , has achieved levels of very significant integration, particularly with behavioral issues , although it is still away from biological bases of sex and sexuality . One purpose of this paper is to examine, in summary form , current knowledge about sex in humans , which has emerged from the biological and medical approaches, and criticisms that arise from science itself , vision created by this biological dimension , with the idea of facilitating the work of building bridges between disciplines that today seem so distant .Downloads
