Abstract

"Considering that the young people in rural communities are appropriating and reinventing practices and representations of courtship in contact with other realities through migration and electronic media, an ethnographic work in a growing community of sugarcane developed located southwest of the state of Puebla, in the town of Chietla. a mean of the locals in this village of 1052 inhabitants, there are another 200 living in the United States, migration is a circular back and forth every six months phenomenon or a couple of years, although occasionally speaks of some who never come. according to the census showed the developer community health, there are 176 households, within which there are 287 aged 15 to 29 years of age, which represents 27 percent of the population.
