Abstract

Anthropology has been marked by stigmata that distinguish it as a science about power and racism. In different ways, this assumption seems to be unfounded. As science arises related to the expansion of the West and its subject is the Other colonized. their contributions to the theory of evolution, classifications and types of human groups were the scientific basis of nineteenth-century racist thought to build their theories on the inequality of races and cultures.
