Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study some stereotypes in political discourse and public rituals of Chiapas, during the period 1970 to 1993, reference is made in particular to the annual reports of the governors to the state House of Representatives and campaign speeches. these reflections focus on stereotypes of women and the Indian and racial origins of the country.
