Surgimiento y participación de organizaciones de la sociedad civil en la transformación de México y algunos desafíos actuales, 1968-2020
Abstract
This article addresses the story of citizen battles deployed over the last 50 years by civil society organizations (csos) who have worked from the resistance against government authoritarianism, dreaming of another possible world, and promoting sustainable alternatives to development, the defense of all human rights, and participatory democracy. Both through their discourses and their creative practices, they have forged institutions that have changed the relationship between government and csos. It addresses how csos have participated and still does in Mexican civil society. We state that without organized, critical, creative, and responsible citizen participation, the Fourth Transformation would not be possible.
