La autocratización de Venezuela y su impacto en la sociedad civil

Abstract

The article studies the relations between civil society and the Venezuelan authoritarian regime, taking into account the latter’s hegemonic ambitions, its strategies to control social life, and the forms of resistance or adaptation of the civil society organizations facing this hegemonic impulse. Society’s ability to halt progress toward full authoritarianism is assessed.
