Entre la solidaridad y el capital: niveles de subsunción de las experiencias de economía popular
Abstract
The present work contributes to the debate on the conceptual and meaning dispute of the popular economies. This reflection process is based on the results of semi-structured interviews and participant observation of popular economy projects in Jalisco, which I analyze through political economy categories to understand the different levels of subsumption to the capitalist production system. As a conclusion of the work, I make visible that, within the material sphere, the experiences of the popular economy with a greater organic composition of capital, such as the tire cooperative, have a real subsumption to the system, while those initiatives with a low composition, such as agroecological initiatives, are formally subsumed under it.
