Politizar las condiciones de vida en las ciudades desde la economía popular
Abstract
In this article we intend to contribute to the debate on the links between popular economies and urban dynamics based on the analysis of how the organization processes of workers in the popular economy in Argentina have politicized the living conditions in the city. For this, we recovered results of ethnographic research based on three experiences of the collective organization of workers of the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy. We maintain that these organization processes of the popular economy reveal a dispute for the production and appropriation of urban space and for the ways of life socially and politically enabled for these social sectors in the cities.
