The historical re-creation and cultural invention have cooperated in the recognition of indigenous communities as those ‘others’ inside urban contexts. Muisca people of Bosa live “other” everyday life, “other” Bogota, “other” country. Ethnic recovery responds to the needs of each territory, where people, families, friendships, organizations, and institutions converge in a cross-cultural way, marking differences in their forms of doing things. The daily memories and the historical identification are the learning of the Muisca experience in Bosa that open another explanation to the so called “ethnic resurgences”.Abstract
