Construction of gay identity in a gay youth group in Mexico City. Some areas of analysis for the ethnographic study

Abstract

How is a gay group in Mexico City?, To what extent membership of a gay group contributes-and how-the process of building the gay identity of men who erotically want other men? On City Mexico there are many "types" of gay groups, not just gays, but also lesbian, gay and lesbian, transgender people in, etc., but none have been studied ethnographically, not only in Mexico City, but in the country in general. No anthropological research or from any other discipline that attempt to reveal how such groups and their role in subjective elaborations of people who adhere to them work.
