Abstract
This text is part of a research project on the relationship between men and reproductive processes, with special emphasis on what categories of health and reproductive rights provide such relations. The project included in its first stage, a review of national and international debate on the concept of reproductive rights and a systematization of some of the main problems in defining the term and to investigate the issue (Figueroa, 1995 and 1996a ). parallel, a review was conducted to the categories used in the demographic analysis and medical bills when trying to playback (Figueroa, 1998a ), which elements were identified to incorporate gender identity, sexuality and health to the study of reproduction in the experience of men (Figueroa, 1998b and 1999). This allowed to emerge more clearly from the need to question the way men relate to your body and other bodies that interact regularly, allowing rethink the analysis of the relationship between males and reproductive health (Figueroa, 1998b ).
