Desacatos This number is dedicated to reflection on the etnoshistoria. Once again the old question again worry: What is ethnohistory? Is a specialty of history or is a separate discipline? Why come back with the same concern? Is it worth the insistence? It seems as if the long history of this discipline, plus hundreds of articles, chapters and books that have been written by the pen of ethnohistorians, are not sufficient to prove that is fertile and fruitful field.
