Abstract

We analyze some experiences of research in intercultural education focused on indigenous teacher’s training performed at the intercultural bachelor’s degree, at the Insikiran Institute of Higher Indigenous Education, in the Federal University of Roraima, Brazil. Since 2010 we develop action in the implementation of the intercultural inductive method and the activity theory at schools localized in indigenous lands and communities such as macuxi, wapichana, wai wai and ingariko. This experience seeks to strength the discussion about the construction of proposals for the school formation of indigenous students. We analyzed some experiences addressed to elaborate an initial work proposal to contribute with the indigenous teacher’s reflection about the challenges of the transdiciplinary and intercultural reflection.
